I’m Sami, a self taught, full-time photographer from just outside Belfast.  I’d describe my style as documentary with a little sprinkling of editorial magic. When I work, I’m relaxed, friendly and most of all fun - I want you to enjoy being photographed as much as I enjoy taking your photos.  I thrive on being your hype girl on your wedding day and chasing your kids across the sand at the beach during your family shoot because there’s nothing quite like capturing genuine smiles and laughter.

 

When I’m not working, I’m busy being a mum to two very lovely little boys so I’m comfortable with little ones, gaining their trust and figuring out how to get the best images from them.  On your wedding day, I aim to blend into the background, capturing all the magic without getting in your way.  I will gently direct when needed but I always make sure my couples are comfortable around me and able to relax first and foremost.

 

My photography career was born out of love for my own boys and a desire to hold on to the memories of those early days with them.  I taught myself the basics then began photographing my children as well as friends and their families first and it sparked a fire in me that I hadn't felt before.  In 2024, I gave up my desk job to concentrate on photography and I have never looked back.  I still pinch myself that I get to call this my career as it has never felt like work.  From the first wedding I shot I knew that this was what I was meant to do.  I love hearing your love stories and being trusted to retell them with my images. 

 

Preserving your most precious memories is an honour and one that brings me so much joy.
